- Reading Quran -

I have been always fascinated by the outside columns of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. So, I decided to take a photo of them while the sun is just rising to take a position, near and low to the ground, with its rays beaming through the columns. To make the photo more interesting I added a human element to it, nothing but myself reading Quran in the inner court yard of the mosque. It is a self portrait shot.

This photo was exhibited in the Royal Geographical Society in London, UK. After it was chosen as a special entry in the Travel Photographer of The Year competition.
