An incredible display of fall color in the arctic tundra of northern Alaska. Probably the best fall colors I've ever seen. The diversity stood out to me - greens, yellows, oranges, and reds. It's hard to find a place that offers all of that color and jagged mountains, but of course Alaska doesn't disappoint. This was halfway through my 10-day trip to the far north. We had an amazing trip that involved bush planes, hiking, packrafting, lots of peanut butter, and 60+ lbs packs. We camped 5 minutes from this spot, as Max and I both loved the color and S-curve of the creek.
