How are you liking that lens?
Thank you for all your kind comments. The lens is fantastic on my a9ii body but it’s terrible on my a7iv. It has some focusing problems.
On a9ii I can handheld at 1/200 sec and get crisp beautiful images. On a7iv even on a tripod at 1/800 sec images have a little blur to them.
For the 7rIV I love using the 100-400 lens. Super sharp and the close focusing distance it gives macro details and beautiful bokeh
Good to know. My camera bodies are the a7 III and the a7r IV. I almost bought the 200-600. Guess I should wait until I get an a9 body. You’re welcome for all the comments and likes ! All very well deserved indeed. I love your work.
It would probably work fine on the a7iii but I would never pair it with a7riv. It seems like a lot of people are having the same issue. I was talking with Mark Smith ( a fantastic wild life photographer and great you tube channel) and he is the one that suggested the a9 for that lens. I had 2 7rIV at that time and couldn’t take a sharp photo to save my life:)
I am curious to see how this lens will perform on the A1
