Eystrahorn

18mm · f/16 · .7 · ISO 200

This is the location I had most looked forward to shooting before my first visit to Iceland. When I arrived at this spot the mountain was entirely shrouded in low clouds and rain. Fortunately, after waiting about an hour, the low clouds dissipated revealing a beautiful blue sky and allowing some light to hit the house at the base of the mountain. I had just about given up on getting a shot. It’s amazing how fast the conditions can change.
