The Earth of 7 colors

Here is a photo taken during my last trip to Mauritius. First time for me that I pass the tropics and arrive in the southern emirate. First time this winter turns into summer, let my big jackets fall for a t-shirt and shorts.
This island is beautiful! The heavenly beaches, small mountains all green offers splendid landscapes. Here is a well-known tourist place. The land of the seven colors. This geological curiosity takes the form of a hill with steep slopes. Seven distinct colours (approximately red, brown, purple, green, blue, purple and yellow) are discernible in the weathered clay that makes up the soil.
