Ontario ceramic artist Steve Irvine took this wickedly wonderful long exposure that had me drawn to it like a moth to a flame. If you haven't figured it out yet, these are moth trails at night, shot infront of a flood light.
"Fluttering wings leave lacy trails as moths beat their way to a floodlight on a rural Ontario lawn. The midsummer night’s exposure, held for 20 seconds, captured some of the hundreds of insects engaged in a nocturnal swarm."

Hah, that's incredible. I would have never guessed that
is it a moth?
I took some images just like this one a couple of months ago during a political rally late at night. The effect is very cool.
Butterflies around a light projector in longue exposure, i've right ? :)
I was close, I was going to guess bats around a light.
moth
Amazing! I should try that one.
