Luminar Flex Sees a Major Update and Introduces Accent AI 2.0 Filter

Are you an existing Luminar Flex user or still need to be reassured before making a switch? Take a look at what changes the first major Luminar Flex photo editing plugin update brings to the table.

It has been a short while since the powerful AI-powered editing plugin, Luminar Flex, was announced by Skylum Software in April 2019, giving users time to fully experience how it can enhance their editing workflow. Skylum are now showcasing their first major update to the plugin, with their most prominent addition — Accent AI 2.0 filter. This filter uses machine learning to enhance photographs with just one click of a button. From basic adjustments, such as color, contrast, highlights, shadows, and others, Accent AI 2.0 boasts to deliver more accurate color correction and a smarter detail boost, resulting in more realistic looking photographs.

The plugin has also undergone usability improvements to help photographers speed up their editing. For example, the Filter Catalog is now open by default and it allows you to quickly browse your filters, using a name, keyword, or by function. If you often use the same filters and want to quickly access them, instead of trawling through the whole filter library, you can do so by accessing recently used filters or those that are in your "Favorites" folder. Looks, which essentially are customizable one-click presets, are also now more easily managed, and you can find and download new free and paid options in the Luminar marketplace.

Furthermore, workspaces have been improved to allow easier switch between different workflows that are uniquely customized to suit particular types of images or editing. Alongside the eight default workspaces, you can modify them yourself to ensure you have quick access to the tools you use and need the most. Although the plugin is constantly being updated and developed, it is compatible with a variety of photo editing applications from Apple and Adobe released for the past 10 years.

If you already own Luminar Flex, you can update it for free to version 1.1. Mac users can update by choosing Luminar Flex in the top menu bar, and then clicking “Check for updates.” Windows users can choose Help > Check for updates on the top toolbar. If you are interested in purchasing the plugin, you can visit Skylum website and download it with a 60 days money back guarantee.

I have this software. I hope this new add-on will help. I have this plugin to PS and I rarely use. Someone wrote “their is nothing new under the Sun”. So true from my usage of this software. Most all of these presets are in PS and I use ON1 for a lot of color grading. I am sure many like this software and like. This is just my experience. I will continue to use this app but but each time I pull it up to make an application, for me, just does not that that “look” I want. Being a brilliant skeptic, this is a revenue generating ploy.

Hi.. I actually manage the product so let me address.

We have a bunch of webinars on how to maximize results. We also started a YT playlist that shows how to get more out of each of the 50+ filters – https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQlozenYb0jAHV0UPUDsXYKR_dUjlJhud

As far as presets go, there are a lot of unique ones.
Plus were giving all new people a pack with 317 new ones.
And existing customers will get the pack shipped to them in a few days.

As far as being a revenue generating policy, the is a FREE update to registered users. So only revenue hopes here is that we keep customers happy and they tell friends. And that new people see we love and maintain the product.

Hope that helps.
