Many of you are likely familiar with the company Skylum. They make the ever-popular Luminar photo-editing software. Some of you may know that Skylum was founded in Ukraine, and the majority of their team resides there.
If you haven't been living under a rock for the past month, you’ll also know that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has seen some significant atrocities being levied on the Ukrainian people. Skylum has a team of 130 who are now scattered across Ukraine and the rest of the world, working tirelessly from the road, bomb shelters, and in neighboring countries as refugees.
What you may not be aware of are the individual stories of the team members from Skylum during this incredibly tumultuous time. Skylum has recently posted an update on their blog that highlights the war from the perspective of seven individuals. These stories are a personal account of the day-to-day lives of the people responsible for bringing you world-class software while trying to avoid the horrors of war.
So, please take a moment, head over to the Skylum Blog, and read their stories. They are a powerful reminder of the strength and dedication of not only the Skylum team but also of the Ukrainian people.
