I really like the bottom two thirds of this photo a lot but the the top third is a different story. There's some weird banding going on and just looks a like a big, dark mess. Shame because I honestly really dig what's going on with the rest of the image.
Thank you Paul. There is no banding on my screen, that's weird. The cloud on my screen is just flat black. I'll try it on other screens as and when I can get acces to them. Anyone else see such a problem? Please comment.
Could it be your screen, have you tried refreshing the image?
I have tried it on another screen, same MAC but different screen, no banding. I'll keep investigating on other screens but given noone else has made such an observation, I suspect it is a problem at your end, although I have no idea what. Let's hope refreshing or some such easy fix eliminates the problem, whereever it is.
It might be my laptop (I'm just off out but I'll have a look on my second screen when I get home), I've taken a screenshot that I'll send you so you can see what I'm seeing.
