I was a bit disapointed I didn't get to shoot the auroras above Kirkjufell, so I made this composite to make up for it. Both pictures are mine and I've tried to keep the perspective and colors realistic - I think it turned out pretty well and somehow even better than some of my non-composite aurora pictures. The buttom is a daylight photo I turned to nighttime.

Incredible image!

Thank you Joel! :)

very strong frame

Thanks Igor :)

Superb composite! I would not have guessed it to be one had you not stated it was. The colors blend perfectly.

Great composition Mads :)

superb!

well done Mads! Congrats!

Excellent work

Wow

I'm compelled to vote here Peter, not because you know how to take an excellent photograph, because your work reflect how awesome you are and i usually don't vote. Just simply because i've seen a lot of Auroras taken in Iceland and for me this is i believe is the first on this location and the timing wouldn't be better. Its the nature rewarding you for you dedication man. Keep it up and thanks for the visit. Its been a pleasure seeing your work

Thanks Bavarian! But sadly I didn't get to see the auroras above Kirkjufell... It is a composite (I wrote that in the discription). When I return to Iceland I'll try to get a real Aurora shot from here ;)

This feels like you over-saturated the land with green.
Looks unrealistic too me

Superb post processing !

Great composite. Maybe I should do this myself :) I bet it doesn't turn out half as good!

Perfect shot man! You can't wish more. Really like the composition and how aurora spins around mountain. Congrats!

Great!
