I had an idea of creating a liquid hop cone out of actual splashes. Every piece of the hop cone is an individual splash. In the end I ended up making it look as though it was water turning into beer as it made its way through the cone. I was shooting an Oxbow Brewing glass of beer separately that I ended up using with this image since it was a shorter glass, which helped with composition. The background and reflective surface where made completely in post and the pattern is based on an illustration of a hop cone.
