Kelli Zehnder (makeup/hair) and I (photographer) did this shot with Lauryn almost as an afterthought. As a last look, Kelli ran to the store and purchased some bath scrubbers and used them as a base for this crown.
We used some artificial hair to fill things out, but as I recall, most of the top layer of visible hair was the model's own.
We ended up with 2 or 3 strong images, and behindthechair.com, in association with Wella, published this image in one of their lookbooks. What a great surprise that was!
The model's top could have been better matched but we were just winging it at this point and I don't remember if the final image was cropped above the bust line, or not.
