Surreal Beauty

This whole series was great to shoot.

Like my other image 'The Artist', this was shot in the same set. The whole set was created with props that I have around the studio. The 'room' consisted of an up-turned couch, ladder, a vintage TV on a chair, a lamp shade, deer head, a couple of chairs and 2 mannequins (and a partridge in a pear tree! LOL). Once I arranged all the props, the whole set was then covered in $15 worth of plastic from the local hardware superstore.

The lighting consisted of 2 strobes with the standard 6" reflectors and a blue gel on one and a yellow on the other. I also placed a strobe behind the prop TV on a small stand which also had a 6" reflector but with a red gel.
