There's a small lake between the smaller mountains at the beginning of the swiss alps in the canton of fribourg, the Schwarzsee (Black lake). A wonderful place in the summer months for hiking, etc., and in the winter for skiing of course. But there are some other things you can do around there..
If you're early enough on place, it looks like you have the entire lake for yourself... Nobody around, no manmade noise, no tourists, nothing.
Just silence.
And if you wander around, you'll find a nice hidden waterfall. Maybe... :)
