Black Lake

Once again I tried my luck at the Schwarzsee. The sky was clear, the moon had already set at 18h... The signs were good for a clear night. When the sun just reached the last tree tops on the mountains in front of me, I sat down on the edge of the lake, put up the camera and waited. The last veil clouds shone in the last sunlight of the day, and shortly afterwards the first stars appeared. A few ducks squawked and swam their last rounds of the day, the bats performed jerky flight manoeuvres on the hunt for the countless insects... And the lake lay like a mirror - almost motionless - in front of me. And then... Suddenly it was dark enough to see the Milky Way from the naked eye.
