My final thesis was based on the theme of beauty and, thus, it was also a matter of identity. What interests me a lot is the construction of the self, of each individual's identity. The questions that arise are: Am I the work I do? Am I the reflection staring back at me in the mirror? Am I the friends I hang out with, the music I listen to, the movies and books I like?
This photo was created in the most simple setup: the light coming in from the window, with a blank backdrop (that is, a blank wall). In post process, I adjusted the contrast and the colours, leaving the image to speak for itself.
