Brilliant, simply brilliant Dennis!
Thanks so much, Bill!
Amazing!
Thank you, Cezary!
Killer shot!
This is an inspiring photo!
Great picture Dennis. Can I ask whether this was shot during the day or if it was dark with very little ambient light? I am also wondering, if you don't mind, what is the advantage of long exposure for this shot. Is it to have the clouds create a smooth trail or achieve the lighting on the arch, or both? Thanks.
Thanks, Ankur! This was taken midday with full sun on the right. Using a 16-stop ND filter, small aperture setting, and a long exposure time creates a smooth streak of clouds without over-exposure.
Gotta love it when a plan like this comes together. Creative approach. Fantastic results.
Inspiring shot. Makes me want to get my gear out :)
Amazing dynamic range. Awesome shoot.
