Overlooking Mt. Iraya from Marlboro Country in the island of Batan in Basco, Batanes, Philippines. The island is protected by law and was proposed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, submitted on August 1993. An effort is underway to declare the whole province as a UNESCO World Heritage Site by the end of 2020.
