For this shot I used my Fstoppers Flash Disc as my modifier of choice. It's small enough that it doesn't catch wind like an umbrella, so it's perfect for the coast, but still provides a nice quality of light.
Last night's senior portrait was a lot of fun. Whales breaching in the distance and a pop of color in the sunset were a welcome surprise. Anytime I have a portrait session that corresponds with low tide, I try to schedule the shoot down by the water to use the amazing sea caves we have - it all worked out.
