Shooting into Infinity

This photo is very interesting to me. This shot was taken at St. Augustine very early in the morn. I decided the game plan was to focus shooting long, so what I did was hold the shutter open for .4 sec, along with some other setting changes and the shot was perfectly blown out. Initially, I thought it was a dud until I saw that the pier and the photographer were completely visible and the surrounding areas were completely white, making for a dynamic visual.
