I met the twins Camille & Marine for their first shoot on the beach of Flic-en-Flac in Mauritius. They came with their mother who was quite enthusiastic about her girls posing for a shoot. The session turned out to be a great one and this one photo was unplanned because I was supposed to shoot the girls on their own. And it turned out to be my favourite from the whole shoot.

I thought about going for my 85mm 1.8 here, but my Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art turned out to be just the perfect fit! I used a reflector here but it was visible as the sun was almost gone. It gave only the slightest warm light that I needed.

How did you light this picture?

Hey Ronald, i used one small reflector on the right hand side, up close. The sun was almost gone, the last rays. And the rest was just my camera settings and some processing including dodge and burn.
