I have long dreamed to do a similar picture - a field of lavender and night sky with the Milky Way. This summer I decided to realise my dream and went looking for a good place for that purpose. Bulgaria currently has the most and the largest lavender fields in the world and I just had to find the perfect field for this frame - I travelled 2000 km with the car, and found this place. The weather was perfect - for the first time in my life I could see so clearly the stars and the Milky Way. The composition arranged perfectly - I had a huge lavender field, there was wind generators (whose red lights are visible in the picture) and the Milky Way was huge and in the right place. In this case, I decided to use a new technique for me - I made a bright picture for detail into the ground with ISO 4000, and then two dark - for vertical panorama of the sky and the stars with ISO 2000 . Shutter speed of the frames was 30 sec. and aperture – f/2,8. The final result was of 3 frames. I have a great panorama view from this place with the arc of the Milky Way, but I will process it and show further.
