Dead Fall

Published in US based magazine, Surreal Beauty.

We shot this in my studio and I used a couple of branches that I sawed off a tree just outside of my studio. The ground was covered in dry leaves that I had collected during Autumn a few years ago and have used on a number of shoots.

The designer had created these amazing couture gowns completely made out of black silicon sealant. The gown were quite heavy and she had used about 200 hundred tubes to make the one gown.

The lighting consisted of two strip boxes behind her, a strobe with a standard 150mm reflector on the brown backdrop and a 1.2m octagonal softbox on a boom as a key light.
