I remember years ago when I first started out shooting one of the things I had major issues with was, shooting bright coloured images.
For some reason every time I shot images that had a lot of colour, my images would always end up as these dark themed images. Maybe it was where my headspace was at the time but these days, I have seemed to have found my way with shooting colours.
This was shot in my studio in front of a purple background and the pattern added afterwards in post.
