Thanks Paul! It took a LOT of time. It started off as an product photography assignment from a client. Then I turned it into a personal project after the fact. Really, it all came down to experimentation. I like to try new things and experimenting is key. Explaining how I did everything would take a while, what I can say is that I combined a product with some paint, used a lot of masking, curves layers, and color adjustment layers to make everything look cohesive. I often build my own libraries of elements that I can use for compositing purposes, skies, grass, fire, water, liquids etc. When I’m not doing jobs for clients, I like to photograph elements that I can use for personal projects and commercial work.
