In an historic first visit, Dr Maryse Narcisse, Haiti's 2015-16 presidential candidate toured the Bay Area, stopping first in Oakland, CA where a standing room only audience of 500 people greeted her with warmth, respect and love for her commitment to Haiti's 10 million grassroots people fighting for dignity and freedom. Standing with her is Master Percussionist Val Serrant, provided music for the event along with Master Musician, griot, author Kujichagulia and the Vukani Mawethu Choir. Dr. Narcisse was presented with proclamations of support from the cities of Oakland, Richmond, and Berkeley.
