I take my camera with me on my lunch break almost every day. I walk the same stretch of downtown Kingston, shooting the same streets, and many of the same people. To keep from getting bored, I had to get playful.
This shot was taken with a split-focus diopter, but instead of introducing an extreme foreground interest, I just let the focus go wild. You get weird and unpredictable results, but it helps the lunch hour go by.
Shot on a Canon t3i with a Helios 44m-4 58mm ~f/14. I stuck a polarizer, red and split-focus filters on the front.
