It took me three hours for shooting and another three to four ones for retouching. The diamond was shot by compositing several shots to get nicest facets as possible. Cleaning theses facets also took a lot of time :)
Hi Scott, I shot with Nikon D610 and Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro. The background is based on a blurry city nighscape. A zigzag was added in PTS to make it more dynamic.
Great shot! How much work did you have to do on the diamonds? Every time I shot rings like this I learned just how ugly diamonds can be up close.
