David J. Fulde's picture

Sometimes a photo doesn't quite work out. And other times it ends up looking better than what you had in your head. This shot of Gharrett is the latter.

The lighting, his expression, everything came together to create one solid image that is probably one of my favourites I've taken recently

Shot on the Fuji XT-1

Helios 44-2 (58mm) @~F4 with a mitkaon turbo booster

ISO 200

1/250th of a second

Shot with two Cactus RF60 speedlights, triggered by the V6ii. One light was camera left shooting through an umbrella and green gel. The other was camera right, slightly behind Gharret - bare-flash.
