I had managed to recce the location for this shot the previous day to find my composition in advance, however, after waking before dawn to claim my spot, another photographer was already there! As such, I shuffled down the river bank a bit to catch the dawn light, but was not happy with my shot. Fortunately for me, the other photographer decided to move on after about an hour, leaving me with the place to myself and the chance to witness a beautiful sunrise and capture this image.
