Texas Snow Goose

The snow goose, consisting of both a white phase and blue phase, is a North American species of goose commonly collectively referred to as "light geese". Its name derives from the typically white plumage.

Great photo John! To me this is an awesome shot for many reasons. First the depth of field is spot on creating the wonderful cameo effect. Secondly the stature of goose is proud and focused almost as if it was posing for the shot. Nature at its best! Love it!
