The fall colors came very late this year in Shenandoah National Park. My boys and I drove up Skyline Dive in mid October hoping to see some amazing colors but everything was still mostly green. But even without the colors we had a great time hiking in the park and got to experience an amazing sunset. The light that night illuminating the Blue Ridge Mountains was incredibly gorgeous.
