When I shoot, I always work in a very collaborative environment and this is an image that is a perfect example of what can be achieved.
I had shot with Megan before and wanted to do another shoot with her so after we arranged a shooting date. Megan sent me some samples of garments she had bought from a thrift store.
They were made out of clear plastic and flowers and instantly inspired me. I sent the garment images to the MUA and she showed us this crazy wig she had and some samples of makeup.
Once I knew what I had to play with, I came up with the concept. I have 3 teddy bears (Edgar, Alan and Poe) as props in my studio so I used the largest I had as the poor victim in the shoot.
Lighting was a pair of softboxes as I wanted to get as much glorious colour as possible and then the bear was photoshopped from a beige colour to the pink so the colour pallete was cohesive.
