Taken in the studio with a Nikon D850 with a 70-200mm Tamron telephoto lens, using 2 Profoto B1X strobes.
Was so excited for this photo shoot. The model pictured (Shawniece Jackson) is a hair stylist and has her own wig line. We've been working together for over 4 years, and finally found a time to do a shoot ourselves.
I had this idea after scrolling through Instagram for inspiration and I saw a photo using another modifier for the backdrop. I absolutely love shooting with gels, so I thought about shooting a pink-gelled strobe into a deep parabolic reflector as the backdrop. I then used a beauty dish with grid as the main light.
