The Blue Bali (Dec 2017)
This was probably the most beautiful scene I have ever seen! From the southernmost point of Bali, the view from the cliff towards the Indian Ocean about ~100 below was absolutely stunning.
I arrived there at the location quite early to secure my spot, the best vantage point for the best photo composition. As I stood there for about two hours, I watched the sun setting down to the horizon far away on the ocean. The sky was dramatic, filled with storm clouds of the December monsoon season, with some breakthrough lights piercing through the clouds. The wind was breezy and the sea air was fresh. Then, the sun disappeared beyond the horizon and the magical blue hour started.
For me, sunset and sunrise are still the most magnificent show on earth. Period. 😄
