Flagstaff Sunrise

I was greeted to an absolutely stunning sunrise the other morning at Flagstaff Viewpoint overlooking onto Carlingford Lough. It's a gorgeous view even on the worst of days but this was truly amazing. Always to great to get to photograph scenes like these at their best.

The lough divides Northern Ireland from the Republic. Everything to the left is in the north and everything to the right is in the south. Hard to believe a gun boat used to patrol these waters. So much history, so many disputes and after all that, the beauty still remains.
