Being born and still living in Strasbourg, this monument holds a special place in my heart. This cathedral was the highest building in the world until 1874 and is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France ; more beautiful than the one in Paris (at least for me).
Living within a 5 minutes walking distance from the cathedral makes it easy for me to shoot this monument. Unfortunately viewpoints on the cathedral are not that great. This location is my sweet spot to photograph it.
I have plenty of pictures from this location, but this one is my favorite because of the sky’s clouds and colors. The only regret I have is that the lights on the cathedral never came up ; that’s because there was a light show on it at this time.
