We went trekking in the Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Park in Hainan, China, with the explicit intention of getting some cool shots. For this one, Sua, the model, had to climb about 5 meters to get to that branch. I was on a lower branch doing some weird acrobatics, trying to focus, compose and not fall at the same time. The sun was quite high overhead, as it was a little over 2 PM and that's what provided the little sunburst and the beautiful light reflected from the tree.
