Bamburgh Castle

Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland - The site was originally that of a Celtic fort. The current foundations are thought to have been built by the Normans after the fort was destroyed by Vikings in 993.

This was taken just before sunrise. A popular spot with photographers due to the wide expanse of beach and wet, reflective sands.

5 shot panorama.
