Bighorn

During my recent visit to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, I drove east from Moose, Wyoming, up along the edge of the Gros Ventre Wilderness in the Bridge-Teton National Forest. Up by Lower Slide Lake, a group of seven Big Horn Sheep (all males were feeding and lounging on the hillside. Surprisingly they allowed me to stand fairly near them while they fed. I was able to make a number of images and this is my favorite so far. Somehow monochrome just seemed to be the proper choice for the image.
