On the second night of our decent of the Karnali River, I walked up a river a way and watched this river scene transition from day to night. Everything just felt so peaceful and fluid, almost frictionless with nothing moving or making any noise except for the river flowing past me. After was ready to be begin this long exposure, a little bird perched on the rock in the foreground and somehow stayed still enough, for long enough, to be as sharp and motionless as every other stationary part of this composition making almost surreal.
