Tsavo Express

Anyone who follows our work knows our fixation on history and how it relates to the time we live in. Our love for history and academic influences may perhaps exceed our artistic sensibility and we are fortunate to have photography and visuals as our medium to tell these stories as we are able to resurrect forgotten stories, and place them contextually in the reality we live in while keeping one eye on the future.

Outside of the art, there is a sense of feeling gleefully youthful about this specific approach, one in which you find the perfect energy to create. The Man Eaters of Tsavo was a story we fell irreparably in love with at first sight, partly because of it's cultural significance as seen through it's contribution to history but mostly because we felt that there was a singular narrative that had been forced down on us and we decided to tend to our curiosity the best way we know how. To view The Tsavo Express is to ask, "Is the famous story about the Man Eaters Of Tsavo the only story? or there possibly could be a different version of the story?
