Levitating someone is easy. Levitating a dancer in a seemingly incredible pose, THAT was my challenge here. It took about 3 people simultaneously to help her float: one to anchor her foot and hold her hand, another to hold the one being the anchor and one last person throwing her hair, and after that, one of them throwing colored water in the back to then sum it all up in a somewhat credibly incredible composite.
Used 3 speedlights, one for her face and top of body (with a softbox), one for the lower half (also with a softbox) and a last one on the back with a blue gel.
