I have been wanting to shoot this tree for a while. It just begs for the "lone tree in a field" treatment.... but I needed something more. Driving back from a shoot in southern Utah, I noted I would be near the tree when the moon rose... and I would have a ten-minute overlap before sunset. Despite the bold colors, I still see this as a subtle piece.
