Innocence...

"Stop Sexualizing Children Photography"
Article by Marijana Cvijović: https://www.boredpanda.com/stop-sexualizing-children-photography/

A child. When words mean just what they do. When you are on your second hour of the peek a boo game and still laughing out loud. When you smile tenderly at a ladybug. When you cry your eyes out because you saw a kitten with a “sad” face. Some call it naivety. I call it innocence. The purity of soul.

Time. Disregarded, but fleeting. Just when you start believing you have it, it slips through your fingers. It controls you, but you cannot ever control it. Before you know it, you start reading between the lines, smothering your laughter and hiding your tears.

The sand will trickle through the narrow neck of the hourglass. On instinct, you will flip it and move on. One of those drops of sand will mark a point in time when our children will no longer be children. They will ignore the sad kitten and forget all about ladybugs.

Control your instinct, since you cannot control the time. Don’t flip the hourglass. Let it last a little longer. Let children be children.

Thank you so much, Chris!

What beautiful pictures. there is nothing sexual about them.

Thank you! Marijana's Article refers to other photographers and their images. Check out a top article by Fsoppers, it has names.

If more of my friend's posted pictures like this of their kids, my facebook wouldn't be so boring, haha. Amazing work, and a good message as well.

Thanks, Jordan! Friend me on FB ;)

That is such a precious picture. Wonderful work.

Great photos, great article and great summary! You certainly capture the essence of the childhood. I always thought that children photography is one of the toughest to do.

Thank you so much for your feedback, children photography is not for everyone, it takes a lot of patience :)
