I had the opportunity to work with Alessandro, for taking portraits to promote his work as a personal chef. The idea, in addition to the usual "professional" images, was to create something more personal, something from which came out his character, his humor, that special thing that he transmits to his recipes.
So the idea was to capture his reaction when in the kitchen everything goes wrong.
This is one of the images made:I was interested in creating something alla "hell's kitchen" with the shadow of the subject projected on the wall from below.
I used speedlights: a lightened frontal softbox, but the main light was inserted into the wok with an orange gel.
I used a nikon d610 with a 50mm f1.8
