Driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway in southern Virginia, it was overall a very cool, very gloomy and foggy day. There was a short lived small patch of golden light that broke through and lasted about 10 seconds. As soon as I saw the light changing into this ethereal golden glow, I slammed on the brakes. I thankfully already had my camera out and ready to go, and snapped the shot before the light could disappear as fast as it appeared.
