Curious Cub and Protective Mom

We saw this mom and cub while on a private tour around Churchill, Manitoba last October 27, 2018. October is polar bear season but even then we were lucky to see the pair. At first we were wondering whether they were mom and cub or siblings, but their dynamics and body language convinced us that it was the former.
