Finding a Sense of Scale

I took this photo recently while on a hike in Washington's Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Given the low water conditions at the waterfalls along Oregon's Columbia River Gorge, I was not expecting much here. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised.

One of my goals was to figure out a way to provide a sense of scale of this waterfall because it really is massive. The best I could do was include the footbridge wayyyyy in the top center of the background. I was hoping to catch another hiker walking across it, but I gave up after about 10 minutes. Still, it really is a stunning place to visit and relax.
