I arose from my sleep at a nearby state park and shook the ice off of my sleeping bag. Not a single part of me wanted to leave the comfort of that sleeping bag, yet five minutes later I was on my way to a location I had wanted to photograph for some time. The hardest part of capturing this image was getting out of the tent and standing in the fifteen degree weather to capture it. Nonetheless, I still feel it has a strong feeling of tranquility to it.
